The Bahamas Chess Federation successfully conducted a National Arbiter Training Course from October 6 to November 16, 2025, aimed at strengthening tournament officiating and technical capacity in The Bahamas.
Seven participants successfully completed the course and passed the final examination, resulting in six new BCF National Arbiters in The Bahamas and one successful participant from the Cayman Islands.
Several of the newly certified arbiters have already begun officiating at BCF tournaments, gaining valuable practical experience.
The course was instructed by FA Elton Joseph and FA Angel Pride. BCF thanks both instructors for their contribution to developing qualified arbiters and improving tournament standards across the country.
