23 year old Pure Mathematics and Secondary Mathematics Education undergraduate, private mathematics tutor and customer service representative at a local insurance company aspiring to be an Actuary.
Began playing chess in the 3rd grade at C.W.Sawyer Primary School initially taught by Mrs. P. Williamson, and then the Late Mr. Warren Seymour.
Highlights & Achievements
December 2013 - competed in the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Youth Festival held in San Jose, Costa Rica in December 2013, 5th place under 10 Female
April 2015 - competed in the 4th Carifta Chess Championships held in Bridgetown, Barbados, 3rd overall in the Under 12 Female section
August 2015 - competed in the CAC Youth Festival held in Port of Spain, Trinidad, 3rd overall in the Under-12 female section and awarded the Woman Candidate Master (WCM) title; becoming the Bahamas’ very first WCM.
October 2018 - competed in and led the Bahamas’ first female Olympiad team playing board one in Batumi, Georgia at the 43rd World Chess Olympiad
October 2020 - competed in the International School Sports Federation (ISF) Virtual World Schools Championship Online Tournament, first Bahamian to qualify for the finals in this competition
July 2022 - competed in the 44th chess Olympiad held in Chennai, India.
September 2024 - competed in the 45th Chess Olympiad held in Budapest, Hungary.
November 2025 - completed the National Arbiters course certificate program
