Congratulations to Dr Nicholas Johnson of Bahamas Chess Federation’s Open Olympiad Team for his win against Uruguay’s International Master Facundo Vazquez on Board 1 in Round 1 at the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. 🇧🇸♟️👏This marks the 2nd time in history, that The Bahamas has won on Board 1 in Round 1 at the FIDE Chess Olympiad. The first time was in 1990. Join us in celebrating him on this remarkable achievement!
